Deer Tick

Introduction

The deer tick part of the spider family (Arachnids), can be found in woodland, thick grass and habitats of wildlife and livestock. They sit on the grass and leaves waiting for a host to feed on. They have three main growth stages and must feed before all of them.

Reddish Brown with black, males rusty brown colour
Female legs 3-5mm in the adult stage
